Show Notes

Most companies are busy with AI — pilots, mandates, “AI-first” on the slide — and getting it almost entirely wrong. In this episode we look at why, and it isn’t the technology’s fault.

We dig into the adoption trap: counting seats and weekly usage as if activity were a result, when nobody ever made money because staff “used a tool”. It’s the same disease as lines of code and story points, wearing new clothes. We’re fair about why leaders land here — outcomes are slow and hard to measure, adoption is instant and easy.

And we get to the part that really bites: AI doesn’t fix a broken process, it runs it faster. We look at how the healthy companies start from a real bottleneck instead of a tool — and why that’s the only version that works.
