Most teams are bolting AI onto the same process, roles and rituals they already had. In this episode we look at the few teams asking a different question: what would this team look like if it were designed around AI from the start?

We get into what changes first — the balance of effort flipping from producing code to specifying, reviewing and deciding — and how the day starts to feel less like a factory line and more like a team of editors working with a very fast, very literal writer. We’re honest that this is a real loss for people who love the craft of building, and a liberation for people who love shipping outcomes.

And we flag the trap: AI-native doesn’t mean “same team, half the people, plus a tool”. The new bottleneck is review, and teams that don’t notice end up drowning in their own output.
